I’m a novice at baking, but love to bake for special occasions. I went online looking for a book on the basics. ‘Cake Decorating & Design’ popped-up. It’s perfect. The author explains all the basic equipment needed to get started, and gives great and creative ideas for decorating the cakes….from kids’ birthday cakes, to baby showers, to birthday cakes for adults, and more. Everything is covered including edible art, different types of frosting, and many yummy recipes! There are a few chapters at the end on how to start a home decorating business with useful and practical suggestions.
